Melissa & Joan {Family}
Melissa is becoming a regular here, every other month or so….May, August, October. But this time Melissa’s mom Joan joined us in front of the camera. I truly enjoy spending time shooting this family. Both mother daughter are a lot of fun to talk with and it makes the session time just fly by. Thanks for yet another wonderful afternoon ladies! Enjoy the previews!

You might recognize Maggie from the day her and a couple friends came out to do the Senior Rep shoot. Just like that day, I had a blast shooting Maggie this weekend. She’s full of energy and personality. Have a great senior year Maggie!

{Preview} Senior Reps 2010!
Maggie. Diana. Melissa. Laura. Four girls as different as their preference in shoes but all four amazing young ladies. I got to hang out with these girls this afternoon down at the Guthrie and the Mill Ruins Park in Minneapolis. Melissa (you might recognize Melissa from here and here) and Laura both graduated in 2010 and will be heading off to University this fall. Laura and Diana are both Seniors this year. Kai & Katie {Wedding}
Kai & Katie had their wedding celebration on a beautiful July day in Hanley Falls, MN at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church. Kai & Katie had were already married in Germany but came back to have a celebrate with their friends and family state-side. DJ for the event was Mylan Ray who had everyone dancing all night long at the beautiful Marshall Golf Club.

A tropical escape…MN style.
I love MN. I do….really. But sometimes, come January, after a month or two of snow, and freezing rain and not being able to just wear one pair of shoes for the day, a girl needs an escape. Unfortunently I’m in that delightful post-college tax bracket that doesn’t allow for a real tropical escape. So what’s a snow-trapped, financially embarrassed, self proclaimed MN girl to do? Head to Como of course! Mom came up for weekend and we promptly headed to Como for some Orchid madness! Here are just a few of my favorites. More can be viewed here.
