Natalie & Josh | Engagement Session

One of the blessings of this job is the ability to be witness to the amazing moments in my friends lives.  I’ve been able to be there as friends commit to their spouses, celebrate the joy of the family they’ve created, and one of my favorite things to do capture the nervous, cuteness of engagement photos.  Today was one of those days. I got to spend a few hours on a lovely, Madison day with a friend of mine from High School, Natalie, and her fiance Josh.  It was great being able to hear their story, catch up in between poses and locations and enjoy just being back in Madtown (how lucky am I that we got to shoot at some of my favorite places, Olbrich Gardens, Dane County Farmers’ Market on the Capitol Square and the Monona Terrace).  I can’t wait to spend a whole day with these two and their loved ones next summer.  Enjoy the previews my friends and thanks for a great morning.

J&J esession l 9.4.09

Catching up with old friends is usually either a blast or awkward. Tonight was a lot of fun. I got to reconnect with Jenni and meet her fiance Jeff as well.  We spent some time downtown at the Capitol and at the Monona Terrace.  Here are a couple of teaser shots from our shoot tonight. Thanks for the great night guys! Can’t wait till June!
